Station Roeselare (BE)

Collaboration with human-centred design studio GELO

Roles: Art direction, graphic design, illustration, visual translation of the participation process with station users and young people.

A new place for young people within an oversized, grey train station. The visual identity is built around the theme of connection, bringing together meaning, aesthetics and usability in a fresh and welcoming design.

Materials are carefully selected to enhance both functionality and the overall experience.
Colorful abstract geometric pattern with interconnected, irregular shapes in red, blue, yellow, green, and pink, featuring small white circles at some intersections.

A pattern illustrating connection through colour and reflective paint. The coloured shapes are visible during the day, while the connecting diamonds appear at night through reflective white paint.

The artwork draws attention to the pavement, combining aesthetics with safety and turning an overlooked part of the street into a playful visual intervention.
